Job Description
- working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding equipment.
- working knowledge.of Overhead cranes maintenance with different ·capacities.
- Perform general maintenance of warehouse equipment - rnay include troubleshooting machine tools, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers and other equipment as required
- Ability to connect to PLC's using the main enanc;e PC svstem and do basic programming and troubleshooting
- · Maintaining, repairing troubleshooting all machinery and equipment
- · Perform precision maintenance on automated robotic equipment - includes preventive maintenance, general upkeep and daiiy cleanings
- conducts preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, alignments
- • Ability to diagnose problems for facility and production equipment and make needed repairs and the a ility to install new equipment
- · Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and facility equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production and facilities equipment during machine service
- · Ability to work across all two shifts, weekends and holidays as required to accomplish facility and production related tasks
- Diagnose mechanical problems and de.termine how to cor.rect them, checkin.g blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogues, as necessary
- repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
- Providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the production equipment and systems in a large industrial environment
- • Day to day coverage of production equipment in assigned area - complete scheduled PM's, respond to alarms,·solve equipment breakdowns and fulfil production reqLJests efficiently to minimize downtime
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Industrial); Engineering(Mechanical); Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong technical background with experience in production industries preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience working in a Post Production/industrial plant.
- Ability to learn nomenclature of all assigned equipment, products, and quality standards
- Ability to learn to identify product defects
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend written material
