Job Description
- Drives and operates tractor-mounted rock drilling machine to drill explosive-charge holes through hard materials to facilitate blasting operations: Moves lever to set out-rigger jacks to level machine.
- Verifies level of machine, using spirit level.
- Inserts steel drill or rock bit into chuck.
- Moves levers to start, stop, and control drilling speed of machine.
- Drills holes and observes depth gauge on drill stem to verify depth of hole specified by BLASTER
- May be designated according to type of machine operated as Reciprocating-Drill Operator; Rotary-Rock-Drilling-Machine Operator.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- With Driving license/ certificate
- Must familiar with marble equipments.
