Job Description
- Greet and seat guests in the dining area.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverage choices.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring a high level of presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Check in with guests to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and address any concerns or requests.
- Prepare and process guest bills, handling cash and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate service.
- Follow all hotel health and safety regulations.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Previous experience as a waiter or in the food and beverage industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and carry trays.
