Job Description
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for various applications, including oil, gas, and chemical transport.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes according to specifications.
- Weld, braze, or solder pipes and fittings, ensuring proper connections and seals.
- Install and secure pipes, valves, fittings, and related equipment, using appropriate tools and techniques.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Must be able to speak, write and read English
- Must have work experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Demonstrate strong technical skills in pipefitting, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Possess a thorough understanding of various piping materials, fittings, and joining methods.
- Welding and fabrication skills, along with relevant certifications, are often required.
- Must have Original High School Diploma
