Job Description
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Mix and prepare doughs, batters, and other pastry components with precision, ensuring proper consistency and texture.
- Decorate and present pastries and desserts in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Use artistic skills for detailing, glazing, and garnishing.
- Follow established recipes and guidelines, ensuring that the quality and taste of pastries meet the standards set by the establishment.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Strong baking skills and worked with a large product range (savouries, breads, and cakes)
- Knowledgeable in various baking equipment - dough sheeter/dough break, stove top, mixers, rack and deck oven, depositor, biscuit machine, scales
- Good understanding of Food safety - food handling/hygiene
