Job Description
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities as required by the Maintenance Engineering Manager and their team
- Monitor the ongoing condition of all equipment and repair or escalate where appropriate
- Conduct overhaul on all equipment
- Conduct complex and in-depth fault-finding and problem-solving for machine equipment issues
- Undertake maintenance shutdown tasks and activities as directed
- Able to work in a team conducting any diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to enable a gradual improvement in skills across the business
- Report all unsafe activity immediately and, where appropriate, report hazards using the site Hazard and Near Miss process
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Proven problem-solving ability and an excellent level of mechanical competence
- Well experienced in mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and general overhauling of equipment related to the aluminum can manufacturing and beverage packaging industry
- Knowledge of Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards as well as GMP
- Must be in the aluminum can manufacturing industry
- Must be comfortable in speaking and understanding English language
