Job Description
- Document Preparation: Updating the CESMP (Contractor Environment & Social Management Plan), and preparing and submitting documents related to environmental incidents, health and safety, traffic management, and waste disposal.
- Education and Training: Conducting routine training for local workers, community residents, and nearby institutions, and maintaining training records.
- On-site Safety: Regularly identifying and rectifying on-site safety hazards.
- Other Environmental and Safety Issues: Handling any other environmental and safety issues as instructed by the project manager and supervisor.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on environmental and social performance
- Provide training and support to project staff on environmental and social safeguard issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate environmental and social considerations into project planning and execution.
- Manage and resolve any environmental or social issues that arise during project implementation.
- SALARY is negotiable depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Geographical Science or similar fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Social Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in environmental and social safeguards management, specifically in road projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental and social impact assessment methodologies and mitigation strategies.
- With good English communication skills.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the Pacific Region. (Preferred but not required)
- Filipino citizen who is currently residing here in the Philippines.
- Proven experience or training related to FIDIC contracts is a PLUS !!!
