Job Description
- Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications
- Fully aware of GMAW and FCAW complete process. Determining correct gas ratios.
- Weld carbon steel & stainless steel according to blueprints.
- Reading and interpreting specifications and engineering blueprints accurately.
- Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required. Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints with welding symbols
- Operating cranes and other machinery for transporting materials to welding worksites.
- Liaising with the welding supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement
- Testing the strength of each joint during and after project completion.
- Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures, applicable laws, rule and regulations, environment, health and safety regulations.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
