Job Description
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensures that all guest complaints and inquiries are handled courteously and efficiently, maintaining positive relationships and resolving issues to their satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Monitors food and beverage quality, ensures minimum brand standards are met, and conducts frequent inspections to maintain high service levels.
- Team Collaboration: Works closely with other departments, like the Kitchen and Housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations and uphold cleanliness and quality standards.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensures that Food and Beverage activities align with the hotel's corporate strategy and supports the overall goals of the company.
- Marketing and Competitiveness: Develops a yearly marketing plan and evaluates market trends to keep the restaurant operations competitive and innovative.
- Maximizing Profit: Ensures the outlet operates efficiently to meet financial goals while maintaining the brand promise and optimizing revenue.
- Cost Management: Manages costs proactively, focusing on productivity, utility efficiency, and effective inventory management to achieve financial targets.
- Associate Development: Conducts Performance Development Discussions, supports professional growth, and identifies high-potential associates for career planning.
- Training and Engagement: Ensures associates receive appropriate training, implements training programs, and monitors engagement levels to improve retention and performance.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Restaurant Manager or in Leadership capacity within the food and beverage industry
- Proven ability to oversee daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, and quality assurance
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations, health codes, and hygiene standards
