Job Description
- RESPONSIBLE FOR VISUAL, BASIC NDT (THICKNESS MEASUREMENT), DIMENSION, SURFACE AND WELDING INSPECTION OF STEEL PIPE IN ACCORDANCE WITH DEVELOPED CRITERIA (WPS, MPS, ITP, CHECKLISTS, PROCESS CARD ETC.).
- RESPONSIBLE TO PREPARE TIMELY QC REPORTS AFTER INSPECTION, MAINTAIN RECORDS AND KEEP MEASURING INSTRUMENTS IN GOOD CONDITION,
- RESPONSIBLE TO MONITOR VALIDITY OF CALIBRATION OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS
- RESPONSIBLE FOR HOUSEKEEPING OF HIS STATION; RESPONSIBLE OF SAFE OPERATION OF INSPECTION ACTIVITY.
- RESPONSIBLE TO DO INSPECTION TO CLIENTS; COMPLETING OTHER TEMPORARY/ PERMANENT TASKS REQUIRED BY SUPERVISORS
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- HAVING WELDING CERTIFICATION e.g. (CSWIP) OR (CWI) OR EQUIVALENT.
- YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SHIELDED METAL ARC WELDING (SMAW), GAS ARC WELDING (GMAW) & SUBMERGED ARC WELDING (SAW) AND OTHER WELDING PROCESSES IN LINE PIPE MANUFACTURING MILL OR SIMILAR INDUSTRY.
- PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH AND/OR ARABIC
