Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate welding activities in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
- Plan, organize, and assign work accordingly to welders, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide guidance and technical support to welders during welding operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of welding work. Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize welding equipment
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize welding equipment performance.
- Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of welding tasks.
- Train and develop welding team members, identifying areas of improvement and providing necessary support.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of welding materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of welding activities, including work orders, reports, and inspection records.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Additional Information
- Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the welding field.
- Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and procedures (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
- Proficient in using welding tools, equipment, and software applications
- Must have experience in Steel Fabrication industry
