Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of pipefitters, welders, and other crew members on-site.
- Ensure all piping work aligns with project drawings, specifications, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and other foremen to plan and schedule tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards and protocols, maintaining a secure work environment.
- Conduct material inspections and quality checks on completed work, ensuring compliance with project standards
- Address workflow issues or obstacles and implement solutions to maintain productivity.
- Keep accurate records of work progress, material use, and crew attendance, reporting to the Superintendent.
- Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and promote a productive work environment.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Education: Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years as a Piping Foreman in the Oil & Gas industry, with overseas project experience.
- In-depth knowledge of piping systems, materials, and construction techniques for oil and gas projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, effectively guiding crew members.
- Understanding of safety standards and practices on construction sites.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, isometrics, and piping layouts.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with various on-site teams.
