Job Description
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low current systems, including wiring CAT6 cables, CCTV, door intercom, access control and other related systems.
- Your expertise in low current wiring along with your knowledge of security systems, will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of these systems.
- Install, terminate and test CAT6 cables for data and voice communication
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot low current systems including CCTV, door intercom, access control and other related system
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions that meet their needs
- Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility of system installations and recommend appropriate equipment and materials
- Perform cable routing and management to ensure proper connectivity and organization of low current systems
- Program and integrate various low current systems to enable seamless operation and communication between devices
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and address any issues or malfunctions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest advancement and industry trends in low current system and cabling
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience as a Low Current Technician or similar role with expertise in wiring CAT6 cables and installing, maintaining and troubleshooting CCTV, door intercom, access control, and other low current systems
- Strong knowledge of low current systems components, including cameras, intercoms, access control panels and related equipment
- Proficient understanding of network protocols and IP-based systems
- Familiarity with various software applications sued in low current systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work and valid driver's license and willingness to travel client sites as needed
