Job Description
- Responsible for managing the procurement process for engineering projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other relevant teams to understand project requirements and procurement needs.
- Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and project plans to identify required materials, equipment, and services.
- Identify potential suppliers/vendors capable of meeting project requirements.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, including quality standards, production capacity, and delivery capabilities.
- Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
- Develop procurement strategies and plans based on project timelines, budget constraints, and quality requirements.
- Determine appropriate procurement methods (e.g., RFQ, RFP, tendering) and selection criteria for supplier evaluation.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Prepare and review procurement contracts, purchase orders, and other documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any deviations from contract terms or quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and efficiency.
- Manage procurement budgets and expenditures to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.

- Ensure that procured materials, equipment, and services meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with quality assurance/quality control teams to conduct inspections and quality assessments as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, and materials/equipment sourcing.
- Proficiency in procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms).
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain management.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
