Job Description
- Assist Head Cook with food preparation and cooking of Italian menu items.
- Perform a variety of duties including cooking pasta and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Perform cleaning duties such as washing dishes, wiping counters and cleaning kitchen areas
- Ensure food safety standards are met and followed
- Receive and store food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout the cooking process
- Plate meals according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure the kitchen is properly stocked with necessary items.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- At least 2 years’ experience as assistant cook.
- Candidates must have a passport
- Must know how to prepare Italian menu.
- Must know how to prepare and cook pasta.
- Experience in kitchen operations.
- In-depth understanding of food health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills .
- Exceptional physical stamina and strength.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail.
