Job Description
- Counts, classifies or weighs articles. Fills orders from stock based on authorized requisitions. Orders, receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, merchandise, tools, or supplies. Assembles, packages, and routes merchandise or equipment order
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized institution, or a Diploma in Engineering or a Diploma in Material Management from a recognized institute.
- must also be able to handle materials handling equipment like pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies, and have knowledge of regulations like DOT and hazardous materials transportation
