Job Description
- Service, repair, assemble, install, commission, inspect cooling towers either at HEWA’s service centre or on site
- To assist in planning & preparation of jobs, using drawings, plans and designs
- Check quality of work performed
- Requisition materials from inventory, replenish consumables in accordance with scope of work
- Provide training to temporary staff for service as applicable
- Discuss equipment & maintenance with clients, collect and analyze data as required
- Check and Record goods inward & dispatch with stock control
- Testing of equipment to meet specifications where required
- Clear and accurate communication with customers
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety requirements. This may include drug and alcohol tests on some sites
- Keep workshop and work sites in a safe, clean and tidy state at all times
- Keep up to date with new industry standards
- Carry out all instructions to the very best of your ability
- All paper work to be completed accurately and in a timely manner, before and after each job
- Time sheets to be completed daily & accurately and handed to Supervisor
- Be committed to the continuous improvement of all systems associated with the service function
- Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required
- Attend to site or overnight stays away for work will be required to fulfil the requirements of the role
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Minimum two years current work experience in a mechanical trade or extensive experience in the assembly and servicing of Heat Exchange equipment.
- Preferably have a working knowledge of Heat Exchange equipment
- Site service and customer relations experience preferred
