Job Description
- Carrying out maintenance tasks as directed by Chief Engineer
- Obtaining clear and complete understanding regarding accomplishment of the tasks assigned to Him
- Notifying the Lead Engineer if any task assigned to him is outside his capabilities or authorisation or cannot be carried out with the support equipment available
- Obtaining the correct tools, equipment, materials, parts and publications pertinent to the task being under taken and ensuring they are serviceable, calibrated or current as applicable
- Carrying out assigned tasks thoroughly and conscientiously in accordance with the policy and procedures contained in the Maintenance Organisation Manual and standard aeronautical engineering practices
- Using only calibrated tooling that is registered by the company • Reporting technical defects to the Lead Engineer
- Ensuring his license and authorization are valid before certifying any maintenance
- Ordering all parts in the manner prescribed in the Part 145 Exposition
- Ensuring all unserviceable parts are correctly tagged and returned to the Stock Controller (except where such parts are to be returned to a contracted service provider e.g. Airwork)
- Complying with all health and safety requirements, including the wearing of company provided uniform and protective equipment
- Practicing good housekeeping techniques.
- In addition to the above, each Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible for certification of aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant procedures in the Maintenance Org. Manual
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Must have 3 or more years relevant experience in helicopter maintenance.
- Experience in same aviation company is preferred.
- Experience in Bell 206, Bell 407, Eagle 407HP, Bell 205, BK 117, MI-8 MTV / AMT are highly desirable.
