Job Description
- Candidates must be Porsche Silver Certified or equivalent from other German brands (Audi, VW, BMW & Mercedes).
- Routine servicing, diagnosing and repair of vehicles by performing high quality and efficient work.
- Ability to identify and report effectively faults found and implement manufacturer’s guidelines to rectify the faults by using efficiently and effectively use diagnostic equipment.
- Test vehicles components and systems, using equipment such as PIWIS testers, engine analyzers, compression gauges, fuel pressure testers, etc.
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors
- Fill out job cards, to include a written detailed description of all work carried out and tests completed
- Be responsible for all time clocking on the work order.
- Plan work procedures, using technical manuals, and experience.
- Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer’s performance specifications.
- Rebuild engines following manufacturer’s guidelines and references.
- Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other test equipments
- Diagnose, repair or replace engine, transmission, suspension or any major system associated components.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
