MANPOWER RESOURCES OF ASIA, INC. (MRA) is a Philippine corporation engaged in overseas employment services duly licensed since 1978 by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) of the Philippine Department of Labor and Employment. Since its founding, MRA has provided professional, technical personnel and craftsmen to land-based construction projects, oil and natural gas pipe laying projects and its related facilities ( on-shore and off-shore ), dredging and reclamation, power plant and substation and transmission line construction, petrochemical plants, electro-mechanical works for oil and gas refineries, animal feedmill factories and processing and cold storage facilities. Also, MRA has supplied the necessary personnel to hospitals, health-care organizations, information technology firms and other types of industrial operations. The 32 years experience of MRA in overseas employment,it has mobilized and develop competent and highly skilled professional personnel, whose knowledge and expertise in their respective jobs makes them highly desired by foreign employers even under numerous challenges, demanding work conditions and diversity in cultures and climates. Today, MRA is taking another big step towards professionalism in the field of training. Realizing the competition in the global market especially for highly skilled craftsmen and specialists, MRA has initiated training programs both in-house and in collaboration with the leading training centers in the Philippines for continuous upgrading of skills, technical expertise, and increased productivity and improvement of occupational health and safety. Likewise, training complements our efforts to generate a sizeable database of qualified personnel to service the manpower requirements of our existing and propective foreign clients. MRA has pioneered in new overseas markets for Filipino personnel and actively participates in DOLE/POEA marketing missions abroad and in conducting talks by MRA’s Chairman with foreign employers’ associations to underlie the spirit of tripartism in overseas employment. MRA has been a consistent “Top Performer Awardee” of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) of the Department of Labor and Employment, and now belongs to the “Hall of Fame” and recipient of the “Award of Excellence” which entitles the company to special privileges from the POEA.
