Job Description
- On-site extrusion welding and wedge welding of large plastic dam linings using an extrusion welder and wedge welder
- Testing various plastics and polymers in the construction of plastic dam linings
- Undertake service/repair of wedge welders including replacement of wedge assembly
- Set up welders to achieve trial weld passes and be responsible for approving trial welds passes and be responsible for approving trial welds and capable of weld data collection and recording
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- IELTS passers are preferred but not required
