Job Description
- Executes inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Issues the relevant Quality Records and, prepare non-conformances reports when applicable.
- Controls equipment installation, alignment and leveling.
- Verify, control and assure that all installations are as per project specifications and approved shop drawings.
- Performs functional checks and mechanical completion checks (duct leakage tests, alignment test, etc.)
- Checks of levelness, position, orientation, anchor bolts, and compliance of supports and fixation systems.
- Performs hydrostatic test of pipes. Prepare, submit and archive the requests for inspections.
- Prepare the Method statements. Coordinate with the Contractor for inspections and prepare 2 weeks look ahead plans.
- Inspect and ensure adequate storage of materials and equipment.
- Updates as built drawings and performs punch-listing operations.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Good Experience in Plumbing and HVAC Design, Load Calculation, Duct and Piping Design, AutoCAD, Quantities take off, Project Studies, Cost Estimation.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience MEPF construction.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, ANSI, NFPA, ASTM, API, IPC, IBC, UL, AWS etc.
- Knowledge of root cause failure analysis techniques, inspection techniques (x-ray, NDT, etc.), corrosion, cathodic protection, etc.
