Job Description
- Undertakes tasks as assigned by the Assembly Supervisor.
- Identifying required items, using items lists, bill of material, picking slips and other parts lists.
- Carries out assigned work in accordance with drawings, specifications, schematics, installation instructions and SVA Work instructions.
- Using requisitions for materials, components and consumables needed for jobs.
- Fault diagnosis and repairs to electrical systems.
- Ensures SVA work processes and methodologies are carried out in an efficient manner.
- Maintains a safe working environment for self and others.
- Undertakes general assembly work as needed.
- Undertakes work on client sites including mine sites and other locations.
- Ensures that materials used and labour time expended is accounted to jobs or cost codes.
- Assists in maintaining the electrical room in neat and tidy order.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- The primary activity for this position is the installation, fit-out and commissioning of electrical system in water carts service trucks and trailers.
Additional Information
- Qualifications : Auto- Electrical Trade nCert
- Technical Knowledge : Truck Systems (SVA Product Knowledge)
- Industry & Business Experience : At least 3 years Auto - Electrical experience
