Job Description
- Ensure the ordering, recieving, issuing and disposal of stores stock is undertaken in accordance with procedures at all times
- Process all new stock take-on and ensure that bins are allocated for new stock items.
- Ensure correct and timely capturing of delivery notes and invoices
- Initiate the ordering of replacement stock when minimum stock levels have been reached
- Ensure that inventory is organized to facilitate accessibility and safety for the store
- Plan and manage regular stock take to ensure reconciliation between system and actuals
- Raise orders for the engineering team ad source non-stock items required in conjunction with the purchasing & logistics departments.
- Always manage the systems for safeguarding the stock in the stores by ensuring that there are adequate security systems in place
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- The candidate will have overseen a large engineering spare parts store or warehouse for minimum 5 years
- Will have a strong and broad knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, electrical, pneumatic and other maintenance spare parts and consumables
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Able to work under pressure and towards the meeting of deadlines
- Diploma or Certificate in Warehouse Management (one year) or supply Chain Management
