Job Description
- Milk cows, treat sick cows, clean stalls/barns, tend calves, and assist with calf births.
- Hoof trimming responsibilities include all dry cow maintenance trims, treating lame cows and diagnosing hoof health issues.
- Experience of all aspects of dairy herd management and day to day livestock tasks to include administering routine treatments
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
- Keeping accurate herd records for all aspects of dairy production
