Job Description
- Ensure that the ASCO Asphalt Laboratory is meeting all legislative and organizational safety requirements, ensure seamless and efficient organizations of the laboratory from start up to ongoing day to day operate
- Perform laboratory and other testing services of a range of raw, intermediate, and finished products and services to the highest quality, safety and environmental performance for the bitumen sprayed sealing, asphalt production and paving and soils
- Performance of laboratory and testing services ensuring that the testing is completed within the prescribed timeframes, costs and to a level of safety, environmental and quality performance that is acceptable to ASCO and satisfies our clients.
- Ensure all non-compliances with WHSEQ (work health, safety, environment and quality) requirements are reported promptly for investigation and action
- Ensure ongoing compliance to ISO 17025, NATA Accreditation, NATA Rules and ASCO Laboratory Management Systems.
- Ensure all testing is carried out proficiently in a timely and cost-effective manner inaccordance with ASCO laboratory systems. • Ensure all regulatory requirements are adhered too in regard to use and transportation of radiation gauges
- Ensure all reports and documentation is completed in full and correctly and forwarded on to relevant departments in required time frames
- • Review laboratory operations and developing and implementing strategies to setup the operation and safety, quality, environmental and financial performance of the laboratory and laboratory services.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Must have 3 years related working experience in same field and must be verifiable.
- Know how to drive a car and with license 1&2 restriction.
