Job Description
- Pedicurists shape and decorate toenails, and some provide exfoliation services and foot-baths.
- Additional duties include applying nail extensions and polishing. To handle these job duties, pedicurists must have good manual dexterity.
- Good customer service skills are important as well for a pedicurist, since they service clients as a regular part of this line of work
- Some pedicurists may manage or own their own establishments and may have managerial duties, such as ordering equipment, keeping inventory and hiring new workers.
- In such cases, it would be helpful to develop basic business administration skills or experience.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
