Major Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Supervises and reviews building internal electrical wiring and water installation design for new and upgrading water and electricity connections.

2. Prepares and develop technical procedures and mechanisms for business processes of the section.

3. Monitors the implementation of the building permit processes improvement plans prepared by the head of section.

4. Prepares monthly and weekly progress reports declared by the head of section.

5. Manages and direct communications between head of section and engineers and units of the section.

6. Studies and observe work performance in the section and issue recommendations to improve work efficiency and productivity.

7. Collects technical and statistical information of consultants and contractors’ performance and reporting it to the head of section.

8. Directs and supervises engineers and providing them with recommendations to improve work quality and productivity.

9. Coordinate with the Electrical Networks Department and other departments in the organization to follow up on the service connection applications for customers.

10. Supervise and direct inspectors to improve performance and services provided to the customers.

11. Supervise and follow up on the electrical contractors and consultants examination process.

Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor.
