Job Description
You will be responsible for the overall financial management of the company and for driving a high performance culture. Managing and monitoring the accounting team. You will provide the Directors with meaningful and timely reports, analysis and commentary to ensure the organization continues to grow sustainably. More specifically, your key deliverables will include but not limited to:
ï· Detailed profit and loss reporting with commercial recommendations and insights
ï· Driving a detailed and rigorous annual budgeting process
ï· Provision of meaningful financial and non-financial information across the business
ï· Improving the current reporting process through the utilization of a newly implemented ERP system
ï· Identifying areas for process improvement and executing them accordingly
ï· Assisting with collection of accounts receivable and banking
ï· Supervising of creditor’s payments (Local and Overseas) and creditors reconciliations
ï· Bank Reconciliations
ï· General ledger reconciliations
ï· Taxation Accounting
ï· General Admin duties
ï· Company Insurance
ï· Supervising and Processing of payroll (Expats and Nationals)
ï· Accomplish accounting human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
ï· Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Additional Qualifications
ï· Intermediate to advance skills in MS Word and Excel
ï· Intermediate to advanced computer skills
ï· Advanced understanding of Business Management Software such as Attache, MYOB or similar
ï· Accurate typing skills
ï· Excellent attention to detail in all aspect of the role
ï· Strong organizational skills
ï· Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of clients and suppliers
