Policies and Procedures Officer/Writer
Job description
- Develops a strategy for the documentation and review of all policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements action plans for the documentation and review processes of all policies and procedures detailing the approach, engagement of professional firms, timelines, deliverables, etc.
- Monitors the implementation of the documentation and review processes of all policies and procedures and reports on progress to the CFO and CEO.
- Provides direction and assistance to departments in creating new policies or revising existing policies.
- Develop and implement programs to reviews the policies and procedures in place for compliance with the company's manuals and guidelines
- Promotes continuous improvement and update of policies and procedures through departments self review programs on an annual basis, review updates and communicates the updates to the CEO.
- Maintains an awareness of new regulatory requirements that may impact policies and procedures and collaborate with the Legal Department to document and track regulatory developments.
- Communicates new regulatory requirements to concerned departments heads and collaborate with them to update existing policies and procedures and develop new policies in response to changes in regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree (in a field related to P&P Development, Business, or Computer Information)
- Relevant professional certification.
- 10+ years professional relevant experience (preferably 4+ years in fields related policies and procedures) and exposure across business operations and/or consultancy or audit firms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and able to communicate with professionals at all levels.
- Strong organization skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities and produce results.
- Strong business analytical skills strong knowledge of business process flows
- Demonstrates a track record of success in leading projects.
