I posted my resume in WorkAbroad on June 2008, October when someone from EDI Staffbuilders International, Inc. called me to verify if I’m still willing to apply and submit my document.

I posted my resume in WorkAbroad on June 2008, October when someone from EDI Staffbuilders International, Inc. called me to verify if I’m still willing to apply and submit my document. Later they schedule me to be interviewed by the CANADIAN Principal together by other applicants. Right now, two of my batch mates have been deployed. For me, I had my visa and just taking my time, I’m scheduled to leave on first quarter of 2010.

I’m grateful to WorkAbroad for being the instrument of what I have right now.

Thank you WorkAbroad, its about time to say thank you and encourage fellow Filipinos to start your dream by creating an account here at WorkAbroad. It pays off, indeed.

I am working in call center back 2009, when I received a call from EDI-Staffbuilders International (EDI), an invitation for interview for an IT position in KSA, they found my resume at WorkAbroad site. To make the story short, I am now in my 2nd year as IT Engineer at Saudi Aramco, the biggest oil and gas company in middle east.

I felt my work on board the ship was getting too toxic for me. It was never my dream job to start with, I just have to go since there were no places hiring as much as the shipping industry back then in 2002. So until 2010 after my assignment I resorted to the internet and by God I know that it wasn't just coincidence, stumbled upon Workabroad.ph.

The next thing I knew I was receiving at least 3 to 4 job offers a day! And boy I was happy about that! But it was EDI Staffbuilders International Inc (EDI) which made an impression that it could be the job that I have been looking for the last 8 years. Went there, got through the requirements and the last thing I knew I was taking their language training for 2 months prior to the deployment in which by the way was paid! Where else can you find an agency which actually pays you and gear you up at the same time? Pretty sweet huh!

After the training, there were some minor glitches but by no means we're not leaving it's just the visa application was re-evaluated. Then after almost 10 months we flown to Finland. Never felt this happiness before.

I learned about WorkAbroad.ph through a word of mouth. I signed up with no serious intention to apply for a job. But since my parents were in Dubai at that time, I told myself to give it a try. Now, I am already working abroad. In fact, it's been 9 years and counting.
