Job Description

Site Supervision & Field Operations
Work predominantly on site to supervise all marine piling and foundation construction activities.
Report directly to the Piling Division Manager on project progress, issues, and resource requirements.
Oversee daily construction activities across multiple work fronts.
Supervise contractors, subcontractors, operators, and site personnel.
Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
Monitor manpower, equipment utilization, and overall site productivity.
Consultant & Client Coordination
Coordinate daily with the Consultant's site representatives for inspections, approvals, and work execution.
Attend site meetings with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors.
Ensure all Consultant instructions, comments, and NCR corrective actions are properly implemented.
Coordinate with survey teams, testing agencies, and laboratory personnel as required.
Marine & Foundation Works (Bored Piles, CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) Piles, Sheet Piling, Combi Wall Systems)
Ensure full compliance with HSE policies and project safety requirements.
Monitor marine operations, lifting activities, piling rigs, cranes, barges, and heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
Ensure all works comply with project quality requirements and approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Coordinate inspections and quality testing with the Consultant.
Identify unsafe conditions and implement immediate corrective actions.
Coordinate daily work activities and available resources with contractors.
Monitor construction progress against the approved programme.
Identify construction constraints and recommend practical solutions.
Monitor productivity of piling operations and marine activities.
Report delays, risks, and technical issues to project management.
Monitor and coordinate all pile testing activities, including: Pile Integrity Testing (PIT), Cross Hole Sonic Logging (CSL), Static Pile Load Tests, Dynamic Load Tests, Bentonite Tests and Other foundation testing as required by the project
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Maintain accurate records of manpower, equipment, work quantities, and daily activities.
Record site issues, delays, incidents, and corrective actions.
Maintain photographic records of site progress where required.

Job Qualifications

A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.

Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on experience in marine piling and foundation construction works.
Proven experience supervising marine construction activities and managing site operations.
Practical site experience in marine piling and foundation construction is essential.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Able to prepare professional technical reports, correspondence, and site documentation.
Strong communication skills with Contractors,
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Proficient in AutoCAD for reviewing, interpreting, and marking up engineering drawings.
Strong email communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional correspondence, coordinate effectively and manage project-related communications.
Strong leadership and site supervision skills.
Excellent coordination and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple contractors and concurrent marine construction activities.
Strong understanding of piling and marine construction methodologies.
Sound knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong planning, scheduling, and productivity monitoring capabilities.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
