Job Description
- Assembles and packs finished external blinds, according to production and delivery documentation.
- Reads printed delivery notes to determine the correct packing specification for each order.
- Selects and applies suitable packing materials, such as tape, bubble wrap and cardboard, to protect finished products.
- Performs full quality control of each packed item personally, as packed goods are not re-checked afterwards
- Scans and records packed items using a barcode scanner; prior experience with the K2 warehouse system is an advantage.
- Works efficiently and accurately under time pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Operates a pallet jack to move packing materials and finished goods within the production hall.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Physically fit and strong, able to handle heavy and bulky products
- Experience in packing heavy items, pallet jack operation, barcode scanning, and K2 warehouse system is an advantage
- Able to pack products accurately and perform quality checks in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision Test (no color blindness) and be detail-oriented
- Good English communication skills
