Job Description
- Prepare, season, and cook steaks, grilled meats, and steakhouse specialties according to company standards. Ensure all meat products are handled, stored, and cooked properly to maintain quality and food safety. Monitor cooking temperatures and donene
- Manage and maintain the grill, broiler, or charbroiler station efficiently during service. Supervise and train Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff assigned to the section. Ensure consistency in portion sizes, plating, and presentation of all dishes
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth and timely food service. Conduct daily mise en place and ensure adequate preparation for service periods. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Minimize food wastage and contribute to cost-control initiatives. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety and HACCP standards. Assist in menu development and recipe improvements when required.
