Job Description
- Supervise daily operations of the tile press section to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor and optimize press machine performance, including machine setup, mold changeovers, and operating parameters.
- Ensure green tiles meet quality specifications for dimensions, weight, thickness, and appearance.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production output, downtime, scrap, and machine efficiency, and prepare shift reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Ensure an adequate supply of raw materials to the press line and minimize material waste.
- Lead, train, and develop press operators and production personnel to improve performance and maintain operational excellence.
- Enforce company safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and good housekeeping practices.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and report equipment abnormalities promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
