Job Description
- directs and executes the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems on a geothermal drilling rig
- Manage and mentor junior electricians, assign daily tasks, and conduct safety and pre-tour meetings
- Diagnose faults in high-voltage power generation systems, automated electrical control panels, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Supervise the safe "rig up" (installation) and "rig down" (dismantling) of electrical systems during wellsite moves.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on AC/DC generators, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), and SCR equipment
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
- Drillmec / HH Certified with Drillmec and Geothermal
