Job Description
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality requirements.
- Verify process parameters throughout pipe manufacturing, including forming, welding, expansion, hydrotesting, and finishing.
- Coordinate with Production and QC Inspectors to identify and resolve process - related quality issues.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring quality issues..
- Review production and inspection records to ensure process compliance.
- Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives; Prepare quality reports and process performance records.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, API standards, and company quality procedures.
- Participate in internal audits and customer inspections as required. COMPLETING OTHER TEMPORARILY/PERMANENT TASKS REQUIRED BY SUPERVISORS
- Ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet quality requirements; Reduce process - related non - conformities and rework.
- Ensure compliance with approved procedures and applicable standards ; Maintain accurate quality and process records.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical); Engineering(Metallurgical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control within an LSAW pipe manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of API 5L, ISO 9001, welding processes, and inspection requirements.
- Familiarity with quality tools, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and process improvement techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and quality procedures; PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH
- PREFERRED CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR (CWI) AND N ON DESRTUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) LEVEL II
