Job Description
- Bathe, dry, brush, and groom pets according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Trim fur, clip nails, clean ears, and perform basic hygiene services
- Handle pets safely and calmly during grooming procedures
- Check pets for skin conditions, parasites, wounds, or abnormalities and report concerns to owners
- Use and maintain grooming tools and equipment properly
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of grooming areas, cages, and tools
- Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records
- Communicate with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Monitor pets for signs of stress, illness, or aggressive behavior
- Follow animal safety and welfare guidelines at all times
- Assist with inventory of grooming supplies and products
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting pets, handling active animals)
- Patience and good communication skills
