Job Description
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in heavy equipment
- Repair and maintain wiring, lighting systems, control panels, and sensors
- Install electrical components and systems in new or existing machinery
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Test electrical systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Replace faulty parts such as alternators, starters, relays, and batteries
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Coordinate with mechanics and operators for efficient repairs
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Technical diploma or certification in electrical technology or a related field
- Proven experience working with heavy equipment or industrial electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and diagnostics
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Skilled in using electrical testing tools (multimeters, diagnostic software, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging environments
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
