Job Description
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise audit engagements from start to finish
- Review financial statements and audit working papers for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (if applicable)
- Identify risks, internal control weaknesses, and areas for improvement
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to audit team members
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management
- Ensure deadlines and budgets are met for each engagement
- Assist in developing audit strategies and methodologies
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Be a university degree holder and a CPA who has trained with and spent a minimum of four years with an International firm or large independent firm of accountants.
- Have two years’ experience at a senior or supervisor level, have a good knowledge of IFRS and be capable of Managing Audits to a Partner Review level.
- Confident in the preparation of accounts and able to train staff in the preparation of Annual Consolidated Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, and company statutory requirements.
- Must have the ability to manage a client list and win the confidence and respect of clients
- Preferably have strong computer skills and experience with accounting software/s such as MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.
- Previous overseas experience would be an advantage.
