Job Description
- Load and unload meat products from delivery trucks and supplier vehicles
- Transport carcasses, boxes, and packaged meat to storage or preparation areas
- Inspect deliveries for correct quantity, quality, and any damages
- Store meat properly in chillers or freezers at required temperatures
- Organize stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) system
- Assist in packing and preparing meat orders for dispatch or sale
- Move products within the shop using trolleys, hooks, or lifting equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of loading areas, storage rooms, and equipment
- Dispose of waste materials (bones, fat, packaging) safely and hygienically
- Follow strict health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Candidate must have valid passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Willing to work in cold environments (chillers/freezers)
- With basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Detail-oriented in handling and storing meat products
- Ability to use manual handling tools and equipment safely
- Responsible and able to follow instructions properly
