Job Description
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T concepts.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality and conformance.
- Relevant vocational, technical, or apprenticeship training in machining or engineering preferred.
- Proficiency with lathe operations, tooling selection, and precision measuring tools.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Others); Others or similar fields.
- Must have 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar machining role in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Information
- Set up, adjust, and operate manual and CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine machining processes and tolerances.
- Mechanical aptitude and fundamental machining skills are essential.
