Job Description
- Conduct microbiological and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, equipment, and personnel swabs, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and BAM-FDA methods.
- Maintain accurate records of lab activities, test results, reagents, and inventory; organize storage, labeling, and stock management.
- Clean, sterilize, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and tools.
- Assist microbiologists in plant-level analysis and central laboratory operations.
- Develop and document testing processes and procedures; prepare reports for internal and regulatory audits.
- Support ISO 17025 and GFSI program audits and ensure adherence to laboratory safety, environmental, and waste management standards.
- Optimize lab processes and resources, including waste segregation and resource conservation.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in BioTechnology or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in laboratory techniques OR Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry
- 2 years of experience in a 1-year microbiology lab (essential).
- Ability to plan and execute experimental protocols.
- Excellent knowledge of Media preparation, sample preparation, Manual culture, ELIZA and ELFA, VIDAS, VITEK equipment, biochemical analysis, stains, and weighing equipment.
