Job Description
- Fabricate, assemble, fit, and install structural steel components based on approved drawings and specifications Measure, mark, cut, and shape steel plates, beams, and other metal materials
- Read and interpret structural/shop drawings and fabrication sketches Perform fit-up and alignment of structural members prior to welding/erection Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as grinders, cutting torches, drills, and welding machines
- Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC during fabrication activities Maintain safe working practices and proper housekeeping in the work area
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
