Job Description
- Minimum 3 years of experience as HT Winder. Read and interpret blue prints, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings.
- diagnose electrical faults, strip old windings, and wind new coils using specialized machinery, ensuring compliance with insulation standards (e.g., 5KV and up) and technical specifications.
- Disassemble and rewind coils for motors, alternators, and rotors using automatic winding machines or manual tools.
- Apply insulation techniques, including VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) and corona suppression systems (conductive/gradient tapes) for high-voltage integrity..
- Perform insulation testing (Meg-ohm), core loss tests, and no-load tests to ensure performance. Measure and record dimensions of parts (shafts, bearings) using micrometers and vernier calipers.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- 2-5 years of experience in HT motor manufacturing or maintenance industries.
