Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brake jobs) and major repairs on gasoline and diesel vehicles.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic malfunctions.
- Ensure all vehicles meet Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety standards.
- Respond to roadside breakdowns and repair calls.
- Accurately document all repairs and maintenance in a computerized system.
- Research, order, and manage inventory of spare parts
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong mechanical background with experience in vehicle repair.
- Valid driver's license (Class A CDL is often preferred or required).
- Proficiency in diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict safety regulations.
