Job Description
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- In-depth knowledge of steel fabrication processes and industry-standard estimating practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software, MS Office, AutoCAD; knowledge of TEKLA Structures is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and cost-control skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and clients.
- Lead the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for incoming RFQs, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), materials, manpower, fabrication time, equipment, and logistics.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of estimation activities, cost breakdowns, assumptions, and pricing details.
- Research and analyze current market prices for materials, equipment rentals, and subcontractor services.
- Evaluate vendor and supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Estimation experience within steel fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in RFQs, BOQs, pricing, and bid preparation for large and medium-scale projects.
