Job Description
- Install, configure, and test PMUs, PDCs, GPS clocks, time synchronization systems, and network components.
- Perform site acceptance testing (SAT), end-to-end testing, and communication checks.
- Validate synchrophasor data quality, timestamps, and C37.118 compliance.
- Integrate PMUs and PDCs with SCADA/EMS systems, WAMS servers, and analytics platforms.
- Diagnose issues related to network communication, time-sync failures (GPS/NTP/PTP), and device configuration.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience with OEM devices (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, Arbiter).
- Hands-on experience with PMUs, phasor data concentrators (PDCs), µPMUs, and GPS time-sync devices.
- Strong understanding of synchrophasor technology, phasor concepts, and dynamic grid behavior.
