Job Description
- This role is a cornerstone of our operations, demanding a profound understanding of diesel generator control, synchronization, and protection systems, ideally with Cummins or a similar OEM brand.
- candidate experience and should possess at least five years of experience with OEMs.
- Practical experience with diesel generator control panels, including installation and configuration (Power Command, Deep Sea Electronics, ComAp, Woodward).
- Expertise in synchronizing diesel generators, power distribution, and automatic voltage regulation.
- Extensive knowledge of alternators (Stamford, Leroy-Somer) and protective systems.
- Familiar with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems.
- Skilled in reading electrical schematics, diagnosing faults, and performing root cause analysis.
- Install, commission, and test electrical equipment, which includes power generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on power generation equipment.
- Conducted load testing, verified the protection system, and troubleshot the alternator.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
