Job Description
- Maintenance of MV/LV motors and feeders (like ACBs, VCBs, modules etc.), MV/LV switchboards, synchronous generators, control panels, emergency Diesel generators, transformers, battery banks & chargers and other associated equipment’s with HRSG,
- Experience of maintenance on motor operated valve actuators and associated equipment.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem of electrical equipment’s.
- Follow General safety & all instructions from Permit to work system & implement the control measures from Risk assessment,
- follow work methodic statement, relevant policies, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Carryout planned and proactive maintenance of plant electrical equipment’s and follow relevant Maintenance procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent safe manner.
- Instruct, guide and oversee electricians to ensure proper techniques and safety rules are followed to complete all work orders.
- Ability to receive work assignment, briefing and guidance from electrical engineer
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Three YEAR DIPLOMA / HND /OR EQUIVALENT IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
- 2-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE IN SIMILAR INDUSTRIAL SETUP PREFERABLY IN FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SECTOR
- AMILIAR WITH Fault Finding – Test Instrument – Maintenance of MV/LV Switchboard, Switchgear & Motors – Rotating Machine – Inspection Activities – Electrical Diagrams (Single Line, Control Circuits & Lighting Circuits) – Trouble Shooting –
- Generator Excitation System – Gt Stating Device – Generator Auxiliaries – Electrical Actuators – Laying Conduits and Cables - High Voltage Systems – Cathodic Protection – Air Conditioning – Ventilation Systems – Lock Out Tag Out
